Wood has been awarded a contract by Ecopetrol to deliver detailed engineering design for upgrades at its Barrancabermeja refinery, aiming for cleaner fuels and reduced emissions.

The TendrillWood JV will deliver integrated, end-to-end brownfield EPC projects, from conceptual design through commissioning and start-up.

The Rich Gas Development (RGD) project will increase efficiency and modernise the facility to support increased gas output from ADNOC’s upstream expansion.

Located around 65 kilometres northwest of Abu Dhabi in the central Arabian Gulf, Lower Zakum Field is one of ADNOC’s strategically significant offshore assets.

This latest win follows a recently awarded five-year contract renewal to continue delivering brownfield engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) solutions across the same Gippsland Basin assets.
