Utilizing a standardized technical model allows the consortium to process the specific feed gas composition found in the Area 4 reservoir while operating under identical deepwater parameters. The platform functions by combining gas pre-treatment, liquefaction processes, cryogenic storage, and offloading mechanisms within a single integrated floating hull.
Deployment and Implementation Parameters
Operated by Eni alongside partners CNPC, ENH, XRG, and KOGAS, the deployment of the Coral Norte facility increases the total processing capacity of the Coral hub to 7 Mtpa. The replication strategy allows the engineering phase to utilize data and integration models established during the previous development. This continuity yields structural predictability and maintains standardized performance metrics throughout the installation and commissioning phases.
